“If you want the girl, you’ve gotta do all you can to get her.”

This groom had a lot of do before he could finally get to see his bride, Selin. But nothing stops this man from getting his girl, not even the fruit that he dislikes the most, the king of all fruits, DURIAN! Struggling to eat even one piece, his brothers helped the poor groom out without hesitation. Even a jar filled with worms didn’t stop this man from diving his finger inside to get the ring out.

But the bride’s “sisters” didn’t make it easy. Something different about these “sisters” are that.. well, they’re not exactly the right gender. Yes, as you can see, her “sisters” are all guys. And this certainly stepped up the obstacles faced by the groom.

The day ends with the delightful dinner held at the award winning Conrad Singapore Hotel.

The groom was a personal friend of photographer, Kok Wee. No, not brothers (though they have the same first names). But Kok Wee and Kok Hou went through the phase when boys turn to men together, and this man was finally going to settle down with bride, Sharine.

Just like any other weddings, the groom had to go through a lot to meet his bride, including the entire groom’s side forced to drink (the videographer not spared) and wearing a disposable panty that says “I LOVE MY WIFE”. The groom put it on without any hesitation, nothing to deny anyways.

Being a traditional person, Kok Hou bought over a dozen confetti cannons to bring in luck and happiness to his marriage. From the bride’s house all the way till dinner at Meritus Mandarin Hotel Singapore , confetti was everywhere. Fellow “brothers” even help to pop the confetti cannons.

It was a delight for us when our previous client (Qinghui and Selin) decided to call us back to cover yet another wedding, and this time, his precious sister’s. Earlier we covered Qinghui’s wedding, and now, it’s his sister’s turn to tie the knot.

Groom, Jason, and bride, Xiuling, have long been in a relationship before they decided to get married. And nothing could hide the glee both had, especially the bride, who was seen prancing around in her white wedding dress as she stepped into her new home.

Singapore Flyer known as the largest wheel in the world, the couple have to have their outdoor photo shoot there. The weather too was perfect to capture the bride at her prettiest.

When one is fated to be with someone, one can meet that someone in the unlikeliest of places. Bride, Shannen, who took up drawing as her favourite pastime, was on a trip to Shanghai when she met the love of her life, groom, Bas.

Now, they are living happily in Singapore as a newlywed. And friend, Kok Wee, was more than happy to be their wedding photographer.

This wedding was different in a sense of the two different races getting together, it was definitely an eye-opener for both the races. Dinner started at normal time, but it didn’t end at normal time. One tradition that Bas and his family took up, is the tradition to dance, dance, and yes, dance! The dance went on till the wee hours of the morning, at Rochester Park.
